public use.
Making the choice between our huge range of lockers can be difficult if
you are unsure of what you need or want. This carefully complied
ultimate guide to buying lockers will surely point you in the right
direction.
There are 9 simple steps to read through before choosing your perfect storage solution:
Material?
Wet or Dry Area?
Cube, Low or High?
How Many Compartments?
Need to Charge Laptops?
What is Your Colour?
Security Type?
Do You Need Accessories?
Let’s Work Together!
Where will your locker be situated? Plastic lockers are best suited to
damp conditions out of the three choices and they are water-resistant.
Whereas steel is best suited to the locker rooms in schools.
Metal lockers are a popular choice for many as they allow a great deal
of flexibility for the customer in terms of: size, shape, colour and
configuration. Direct2U’s TUFF lockers also have Germ Guard Technology,
which is an anti-bacterial quality in the powder coating of the lockers.
This provides protection against many harmful bacteria’s.
Steel lockers are best suited to dry environments and are the most
common type of locker the reason being, the versatility and
customisation of these lockers is vast. Alternatively, if your locker
location gets wet; Plastic lockers are fully water proof and can even be
used outside. Laminate lockers are ideal for those areas which are both
wet and dry making them popular choice in high usage areas such as gym
changing rooms.
The first thing to consider is how much room is needed for each user.
If this is a small bag then cube lockers are perfect, you can stack or
arrange them however you would like.
High lockers are perfect for hanging coats and larger bags without
taking up too much space. ¬-Providing you’re not ordering a nest of
lockers they will use vertical space rather than floor space.
Low lockers are ideal for school lockers and can be stacked to create
additional storage space. These offer more space than a cube locker but
are not ideal for hanging coats in (more then 2 compartments).
Usually
there are 6 different compartment choices to choose from, the locker
you choose will depend on how many users you have, how much space there
is and the contents that will be stored in each compartment.
You may decide on two compartments so users can hang their coats and
place their bags into a locker; alternatively you may decide on 6
compartments so that users can store their personal effects.
Investing in laptop charging unit will always guarantee devices are
fully charged and ready for use. Providing equally the same amount of
security for your devices with separate compartments so that devices do
not get damaged by stacking. For use in schools; it is clear to see if
there is a device missing and hasn’t been handed back in.
Available with up to 15 tiers and in various colour options, they can be
supplied with one main door or individual doors to ensure extra
security.
Body colours are available in white, silver and black however door
colour is where personalisation shines through. You can purchase lockers
to match your corporate colours, have a wall of colour or just to fit
in with your office décor; the possibilities are endless.
Tuff range can be customised; by providing the RAL colour, Direct2U even
assist with bespoke orders. Similarly, the Spectrum locker ranges
showcases a huge variety of colours.
Cam Lock – Provides the user access via a small key
Hasp Lock – The user is required to use their own
padlock to secure the locker, providing flexibility over allocation of
lockers & lost keys
Combination Lock – Keyless entry available wiht or
without a master override. This lock is available in manual or
electronic form where the user has a key code to access the locker
Coin Return Lock – Allows the user to deposit a
coin inside the lock to use the locker and when they return the key,
their coin is also returned to them. This is proven to minimise key
loss.
Coin Retain Lock – All the same features as the coin return lock however the locker provided keeps the coins, as payment for service.
The type of lock chosen is often controlled by it the locker’s
location; in offices combination locks are common where there is only
one user to each locker. However; in sports centres and gyms coin return
or retain is common as a result of multiple users per locker.
You have one more decision to make about your lockers; do you need any
accessories? Accessories are not required for the completion of your
locker BUT they may make life a little easier and create a more finished
and professional look.
Here are some of your options:
Sloped Top – Converting the standard, flat top of a
locker to a sloped, sleek top is less likely to collect as much dust.
Due to the height of most lockers they can be difficult to clean so
installing a sloping top can make cleaning much easier, quicker and
safer.
Locker Stands – Designed to lift the locker away
from the floor not only to create more space but also prolonging the
life of the lockers and making floor cleaning easy.
Locker Benches – Placing a bench in front of your
locker nest is very common in public changing rooms. This gives your
user stability and a place to rest as they change.

anti-bacterial technology. The Probe Minibox are no different. They too
have an Activecoat finish with will help combat germs and bacteria,
preventing the spread and contamination of people / other items. The
Activecoat finish is applied at the point of manufacture and will last
the life time of the locker. It has three key elements:
Prevents growth of bacteria
Activecoat ions interrupt the Enzyme production – stopping the cell producing energy
Interrupts the cells DNA – preventing replication
Important Information
Probe Minibox lockers are Fire Zero Tested & Certified to EN 13501-1:2007 + A1:2009.
This certification ensures that the lockers will not contribute to the
spread of a fire. It is essential that you purchase lockers with this
certification if you are going to positioning them in corridors, offices
or near to escape routes.
To find out more information read our latest blog on Fire Safety and Lockers here.
They also conform to BS 4680; 1996 excluding size specification (which is the required specification for clothes lockers).
In conclusion, Probe lockers are manufactured in the UK to the highest
quality. You can be rest assured that the highest quality components are
used during the manufacturing process. This will result in a strong
construction and quality finish. The Minibox lockers will withstand the
test of time. Therefore, this makes them an obvious choice for high
traffic areas and environments where they will be exposed to lots of use
(but might not be treated with the best care). As they will retain
their finish and will keep your workplace looking smart.
We pride ourselves in providing a wide range of lockers for all your
needs, all made from quality materials and fitting a long list of
applications. Our steel lockers are amongst the most popular choices
when it comes to quality lockers with great durability. And now, our
steel lockers have been Fire-tested and certified, adding to their
performance and meeting all safety requirements in schools, hospitals,
and public premises. The European Standard EN 13501-1 is the currently
the highest standard in fire performance, and our ranges are now
certified under it!
Why is important to have fire-tested and certified lockers?
Lockers are usually lined against the wall and during the event of a
fire, lockers that do not have this certification would catch fire and
spread throughout corridors and walkways. Having Fire-Tested and Certified Lockers
means that the lockers will not pose a danger to escape routes and
should not add to the spread of a fire. If lockers do not have this
certification, they could be a risk and a hazard.
Steel has a high melting point, which is 1370°C, which is 300 degrees
above the maximum temperature of a room fire that has been burning for 4
hours. Since the fire brigade will be likely to arrive much sooner than
that, it’s safe to say that Steel Lockers can withstand fires that
reach maximum fire temperatures! What makes our lockers fire-retardant
is not just the steel component of the lockers, but the epoxy paint that coats them! This qualifies them as non-combustible, meaning they will not combust, increase, or sustain any fire!
At the end of the day, our fire-tested lockers could protect the
contents of lockers but are primarily meant to permit the safe escape of
all. They can help by halting the spread of fire long enough for the
fire brigade to put the fire out.
According to the classification, products tested to EN 13501-1 are
valid for use against walls and ceilings or free-standing. This means
that you can use our lockers anywhere in the premises,
along corridors and against room walls, at entrances or exits. However,
be sure that your lockers don’t block any doorways or narrow
passageways!

Identifying hazards and preventing fires
To reduce the risk of fires, the HSE recommends the following:
Carry out a fire safety risk assessment
Ensure good housekeeping, eg avoid build-up of rubbish that could burn
Consider how to detect fires and how to warn people quickly if they start, eg installing smoke alarms and fire alarms or bells
Have the correct fire-fighting equipment for putting a fire out quickly
Keep fire exits and escape routes clearly marked and unobstructed at all times
Ensure your employees receive appropriate training on procedures they need to follow, including fire drills
Review and update your risk assessment regularly

Did you know that as of March 2017 there will be a new £1
coin in circulation?
You may be thinking how will this affect our lockers? Well,
if you have lockers with standard key or hasp and staple locks it won’t affect
you. However, if you purchased lockers before 1
st July 2016 with
coin return or coin retain locks, they will soon become out of date and as of
September 2017 unusable.
If you have purchased lockers after this date, then don’t worry
we have made sure our lockers are ‘future proof’ from now on. The new coin
locks accept both the current £1 coin and the new £1 coin. So, if you do need
to replace your coin locks they will only need to be changed once, and whilst
the coin is in transition your lockers will still be in perfect use. We’ve made
it really easy to replace your coin locks and have some cost effective options
available to you.
Why has the government decided to change the £1 coin?
The £1 coin is one of the oldest British coins still in
circulation. It was first issued in 1983 and since then it has changed very
little, making it one of the easiest coins to counterfeit. Did you know that
one in 30 pound coins are actually fakes?
This causes a significant cost to taxpayers, industries and
to the general public. Therefore, the government announced back in 2014 that a
new £1 coin would be released. The last £1 coin as we currently know it was
issued in December 2015.
The new coin will be in use from Mach 2017, not too long
away, and the government are acting quickly to get the current pound coin out
of circulation. By September 2017 it will not be accepted.
What will the new pound coin look like?
It has a new design similar to that of the £2 coin. It will
be 12 sided with rounded edged and corners and have a nickel brass outer circle
with a nickel plated solid alloy inner circle. The new design is meant to be
very difficult to replicate and will have numerous counterfeit preventions.
What lock options are available?
We currently have two new coin lock options available from two
different manufacturers: Lowe & Fletcher and Assa Abloy. If you need to
replace your coin locks the first thing to do is check the manufacturer’s name
on the back of your current locks. You will need to replace your locks with
like for like (e.g. the same lock manufacturer).
If you’re a little unsure or have a different manufacturer’s
name on the back of your lock please take a photo and email it to us at
sales@direct2u.co.uk. We’ll be more than
happy to help you and find the right locks for your lockers!

When you’re given the task to buy lockers for your
construction site or facilities how do you know you’re buying the best lockers
for the job.
Contractors are required to provide welfare facilities and
maintain these for the duration of the project.
The type of facilities required and the scale of facilities
will naturally depend on the size of the project. Here are some key facilities
that might be required:
Toilets
Washing facilities
Drinking water
Facilities for rest
Changing rooms and lockers
In this blog we’re going to concentrate on lockers for
construction sites, finding out which ones are best to use.
Construction Site
Lockers for Changing Rooms
Changing rooms are needed wherever workers have to wear
specialist clothing for work and cannot be expected to change elsewhere. They
are also essential for employees who are required to keep their work clothes in
safe place, at work and not allowed to take them home/ off site.
Changing rooms must provide seating, a means of drying and
storing clothing and a place to secure personal effects.
For many construction sites, ventilation is key. If clothes
are likely to become damp, smelly or dusty it is a good idea to keep them in
secure, but also ventilated lockers to allow them to be fresh and ready for the
next working day. For this we’d recommend Wire Mesh Lockers:
Wire mesh lockers provide good visibility whilst
ensuring the security of personal items
Wire mesh allows warm air to circulate through
the lockers drying and damp or wet items and keeping them fresh
They are also popular for storing work tool as
the wire mesh allows people to quickly identify the contents of each locker
without having to open each one
Need these lockers quickly? We have a range of
wire mesh lockers which are available on 5 day delivery
If
it’s not necessarily clothing storage you need on your construction site we
have plenty of other options. On many sites workers are not allowed to keep
their phones and personal belongings on them for various reasons including
health and safety. Some people may choose to bring bags to work to store their
stuff in – for which a standard steel locker would be ideal. Depending on the
size of storage required and the amount of space vs. staff there are, this
could be anything from a one door locker to a 6 door locker. Such lockers are
often kept in construction site cabins where they are secure from outside
elements and hidden from people passing by. For this we’d recommend several of
our steel lockers…
Construction Site
Lockers for Site Cabins
1.Standard Steel Lockers – Traditional
locker design provides a safe place for members of staff to store a range of
items including bags, shoes, hats etc. Express delivery lockers are available
if ordered before 12pm – can be delivered to site the next working day. These
high quality lockers are low cost but don’t compromise on security.
2.Personal Effect Lockers – Ideal for
workers to store their phones, wallets and keys in a secure location. Cost and
space saving locker can store up to 40 different personnel items at any one
time. If storage is only required for small items then the H165 x W225 x D360mm
compartment size is perfect.
3.In Charge Tool Lockers – Ideal for any
construction site or building site that regularly use cordless tools. The
charging lockers are designed to keep expensive tools safe and charging at the
same time so they are ready for use – no need to start a job to then realise
your tools are not ready for use. Each compartment comes with one 3 pin UK
socket (two sockets are available P.O.A).
All the doors are independently earthed to the
locker carcass
One side of the locker and the door fronts are
perforated – this will help prevent heat building up during charging
Each shelf has an additional front to rear
reinforcing box section for added strength – can store heavy tools
Power lead is supplied with fitted RCD plug –
lead plugs into the locker enabling easy replacement of the lead if every
damaged
Supply voltage 230Volts
Maximum current consumption in normal use is
13amp
Another
common place to store lockers on construction sites is of course, out doors.
When exposing them to the elements, you’ll need a strong and enduring plastic
locker. Plastic is ideal for outdoor storage as it wont rust and can take a bit
of a beating.
Construction Site
Lockers for Outdoor Areas
Our
Probe Ultrabox Plus lockers are designed to be used outdoor
Come rain or shine these lockers are built to
withstand the harshest environments and weather conditions
Waterproof door seal, lock gasket and drain hole

Recently there has been a huge popularity growth in the use of devices
in public facilities and therefore a need for places to store and charge
them has emerged. We have the answer to all your device storage needs
with our brief guide to charging lockers.
———————————————————————————————————————————
Mobile Phone Storage Lockers
Pretty much all of us are glued to our phones these days and
it can be difficult to leave them alone. If you’re a school, office, warehouse
or any other environment where phones are prohibited then this unit is
essential for you. Give students, staff and visitors a safe place to store
their personal items.
Whether your lockers will be multi-user or one regular user
we have the locker for you. With a range of lock options to choose from,
storing devices securely and efficiently has never been so easy.
Our personal effects locker comes in 4 different compartment
and sizing options. There are 20, 28 or 40 compartments with an entry aperture
of H 150 x W 163 x D 360mm each. This size makes them ideal for all small
devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players and other personal effects including
keys, wallets and more. The units feature a behind-frame locking system and
through frame shelf for ultimate security. Designed with multiple users in mind
the locker is coated with anti-bacterial technology to stop the spread of
bacteria.
Mobile Phone Charging Lockers
So far it seems that 2015 is the year of the smart phone
locker. They’ve been cropping up here, there and everywhere including shopping
centres, theme parks, gyms and more. Not only do these lockers provide a safe
place to store phones, they also provide users with the opportunity to charge
their devices.
Charging lockers might not cost you as much as you think.
They can be a quick and easy way to earn money back on your investment by
charging for usage. With a coin return lock option users have to put money in
to use the locker or similarly with a token lock users can purchase tokens for
an amount chosen by the establishment.
This charging locker has eight compartments which can each
have either one or two standard UK
sockets inside. Charging up to a maximum of 16 devices at any one time, the
lockers can also be used for storage alone meaning it can house many more
devices. The doors feature a perforated section to regulate temperature during
use and all doors are earthed to the locker to ensure safe use. Each unit is
coated in Biocote – an antimicrobial (anti-bacterial) technology offering
protection from the spread of germs for the life of the locker.
Laptop Charging Lockers
Schools, colleges and universities all over the world are
choosing to go digital and use laptops and tablets in the classroom. Many
further education facilities are also providing students with laptops in their
libraries meaning students don’t have to be fixed to one spot unlike the
traditional methods. The decision to provide communal devices for students has
proved popular bringing more out of their rooms and into the library to study,
allowing students the flexibility to squeeze in study session in between
classes and not have to carry their own devices around with them all day.
Due to the multi-purpose nature of the scheme there needs to
be a safe and secure place to not only store the devices but to also charge
them in between users. It can be tricky trying to manage to loaning of the
laptops in order to keep track of damages and losses etc but we have the
solution: Laptop Charging Lockers. Our range of lockers can be supplied with a
range of locking mechanisms ranging from keys to padlocks to digital locks.
Ideal for communal use areas, the lockers provide a safe place for students to
easily return and charge the lockers without any intervention from staff. A
popular management of laptops is to assign a number to each locker compartment
and corresponding laptop and have students allocate their name to a number. Students
will then sign the laptops in and out making it easy for staff to see the users
and usage.
Standing at 1778mm tall, 457mm wide and 457mm deep this unit
is ideal for the purpose described above. The locker can house and charge up to
ten laptop devices at a time providing a safe and secure place to store them. Each
compartment is fitted with a single socket and is ventilated for safety when
charging. With a wide range of popular colours to choose from this locker would
suit any educational, office or warehouse facility and can be matched to brand/
uniform colours. Each unit is coated with BioCote anti-bacterial paint that
helps stop the spread of germs by 99% for the entire life of the locker.
Tablet Charging and Storing Lockers
Similar to the introduction of laptops into educational
environments, tablets have also grown in popularity. Many schools –
particularly primary schools and choosing to use tablets to not only education
children on technology but to also use them as educational tools. Specialist
software is available providing educational games and other interactive apps
for children to use. Proving to be a popular incentive to children, tablets are
now widely used across the UK.
The UK’s
number one tablet storage brand in schools is LapCabby and here at Direct2U we
are proud to offer a wide selection of the range.
Another popular institution turning to tablet devices is the
NHS. It is believed that accuracy and treatment time can be improved through
the use of tablet devices enabling doctors and nurses to share notes instantly.
However, we all know that technology can be unreliable and this new system can
only work if the devices are looked after and of course – have power.
This 1115mm high unit is deceptively big and can store up to
32 tablets (max. size 310 x 198 x 35mm each). The storage unit has a grey frame
as standard with a choice of accent colours including purple, charcoal, blue,
orange and lime. Each unit is fitted with Power7energy management system which
features easy use timers, Economy 7 and day time charging. To ensure ultimate
safety the TabCabby also has AC adaptors and power supply stored in a separate
compartment with unique cable storage to keep unit tidy and safe. As if this
unit didn’t have enough selling features, here’s one more: each LapCabby and
TabCabby unit comes with a two year manufacturer’s warranty.

Probe
are a famous and much loved favourite in the locker industry. Their
ability to manufacture high quality, long lasting lockers whilst keeping
prices low is what sets them apart from other manufacturers.
And
now, they have outdone themselves again. All of the steel lockers
branded Probe on our website are now Fire Zero tested and certified.
What does this mean?
To
cut a long story short, it means that each of our Probe steel lockers
are non-combustible meaning they won’t burn during a fire. Although
steel is not known for being highly combustible, Probe steel lockers are
the only ones in the market to have been tested and certified to Fire
Zero standards.
Currently, Probe steel lockers are the only brand
to have achieved the title of being tested and approved within the
European Standard – EN 13501-1: 2007 +A1 2009 in relation to fire
performance.
To many of us this will just look like a bunch on
random letters and numbers. However, this qualification is extremely
important, particularly when lockers are being used in public places.
Not only does this rating mean the lockers themselves don’t burn, it
also means they will not increase or sustain the spread of any fire
within their proximity.
More technical nitty-gritty
•
Probe Fire Zero steel lockers comply with the requirements laid out in
Building Bulletin 100: Design for fire safety in schools

stiffeners which promises security. The anti-bacterial coating lasts the
life of the locker and tests have found that there is a 99% reduction
in the spreading of germs.
Probe Quarto Locker

for lockers you can stack to create the dimensions you need. The units
themselves have been designed for individual use and can be bolted
together in blocks. Thanks to the compartments being tall, these lockers
are ideal for storing school bags and handbags comfortably. Quarto
lockers can also be used if you need an extra compartment on top of
existing standard locker units as the compartment sizes compliment those
of standard lockers.
Probe Cube Lockers
Similar
to the Quarto locker, the cube units have been designed for stacking
and nesting together in environments where space is limited or vertical
lockers aren’t appropriate. Probe cube lockers come in three different
sizes: 305mm, 380mm and 460mm. These units also feature activecoat
technology to stop the spread of germs in high traffic and educational
environments. All lockers in this range are delivered pre-drilled for
easy bolting and attaching together.

where you are responsible for others safety, don’t take risks. Choose a
brand you can trust. This Fire Zero technology is a ground breaking

To someone who has been tasked with
the job of buying lockers for their workplace/ office/ factory/ where
ever, the world of lockers can be quite daunting. Aren’t they all just
the same? I hear you ask. The simple answer for this is no, they are
not! Maybe it’s because I spend everyday learning about lockers that I’m
so enthusiastic but dare I say it, they can be quite fun!
On a tight budget?
Not
that our lockers are expensive (they’re actually the cheapest on the
web) but like everything, some are cheaper than others. We understand
that sometimes there is no fuss or special features required and a
budget locker will do the job. Introducing our Budget Lockers range.
This
range has been developed to prioritise price over any fancy features.
These are what you’d call your bog standard, basic lockers.
• Economy Lockers
1800mm high, 300mm wide and either 300mm or 450mm deep. These lockers are robust and are manufactured with
reinforced
doors with a welded frame for extra rigidity. Standard key lock (cam
lock) fitted as standard – as with all our lockers. However, if you
would like padlock locking please state in the order comments and we can
arrange this for no extra cost. Padlocking is a good idea for staff
lockers as staff members can bring their own padlocks and have
responsibility for their won goods. Padlock option is also useful when
multiple members of staff will be using the same locker and saves having
to pass keys around etc. The carcass colour is standard light grey with
the choice of either light grey doors or blue doors. Each unit is
predrilled for nesting and is completed with anti-bacterial powder
coated finish to help stop the spread of germs. With a starting price of
£48 these lockers are an absolute steal and can be delivered to you in
10 working days.
Want something low cost but a bit fancier?
Our
standard locker range features a whole host of lockers that are a
fraction more expensive than our budget range, but are a whole lot
fancier. With a bit more budget you can get a whole range of colours –
great for staff lockers and workplaces where lockers will be visible to
visitors. There are many lockers in this range so here’s our top pick:
• Probe Autumn Lockers
These
are high quality lockers ideal for not only offices but also schools,
colleges and much more. Available in two depths: 300mm or 450mm, with a

lockers are available with either a smoke white, black and now also
silver frame – much more interesting than the usual grey frame. The
doors are also available in unique pastel colours: blue, green, orange,
purple and yellow. The locking system as standard is cam lock (key lock)
and can be changed to padlock at your request. All Probe lockers

practical design. It’s also a popular choice due to the next day
delivery, 5 day delivery and standard delivery options. Choice of colour

purchasing multiple units it’s good to order different colours so
lockers can be ‘zoned’ for different departments e.g. shop floor use

different sizes and 3 numbers of compartments; 20, 28 and 40.
Need somewhere to store and charge staff laptops?
We’re
all pretty tech savvy these days and a lot of companies rely on laptops
and other devices to aid the day to day running of business. Where do
you store staff laptops when not in use? If the answers ‘in a cupboard’
or ‘on a desk’ then you should think about having somewhere secure to
store them. It’s not only loss of a laptop if anything were to go
missing, it’s often also vital information and data stored on them that
is lost too.
• Mobile Laptop Charging Locker
This handy unit is available in three sizes:
1. H 1200 x W 525 x D 670mm
2. H 1200 x W 525 x D 1220mm

charges devices stored inside and each compartment has a 3 pin plug
socket for use with mains lead. Grey frame as standard with a choice of
red, light grey or blue doors. Compartments are ventilated to ensure
regular temperature of devices whilst doors are shut and the unit itself
has a rimmed top to allow for stable laptop placement.
Need staff lockers with high visibility and ventilation?
There
are some workplaces such as warehouses and retail shops that require
constant visibility of staff bags to ensure ultimate security. Like wise
with ventilation, many places such as swim and surf schools need to
secure goods away over night but also need to allow them to dry and
ventilate to avoid mould. Choose from an array of compartment options
including single to 40 compartments. All our wire mesh lockers can be
ordered with or without doors. For this we have two suggestions:
• Express Wire Mesh Lockers – Nest of Two
This
is the ultimate high visibility and ventilation locker and it can be
delivered to your door in 5 working days. This unit is available with 1,

multiple items in their staff locker. Most of the units in this range
have been designed with one user in mind, meaning they tend to only have
one door per locker.
• Workwear Lockers
This
product is our top pick from the range as it ticks all the boxes. It’s
low cost and practical. The dimensions are 1800mm high, 450mm deep and
450mm wide. The top and bottom of the unit is vented with air
circulation holes and the unit also has semi-concealed, welded hinges.
The components feature a polyester and anti-bacterial coating perfect
for reducing the spread of germs. Each locker features an upper shelf

separation. Separating items is particularly useful in industries that

That’s
it for our staff locker guide. It’s a very lengthy guide, we realise
but we hope it helps in making the right decision for your needs. If you
do happen (if it’s even possible) to have any more questions, please
live chat, call or email us and we’ll be happy to help.
The use of lockers in primary schools is growing rapidly for a number of reasons:
1. Staff can keep equipment and supplies safely stored out of children’s reach
2. Pupils have a safe place to keep their belongings – in favour over the traditional drawer systems
3. Members of staff can also safely secure their belongings without the worry of them getting into the wrong hands
4. Laptops and tablets are now used more than ever in education and having somewhere safe and secure to store them is essential
By
giving pupils their own lockers it teaches them to take responsibility
for their own stuff and also gives teachers peace of mind that
belongings wont get muddled up between pupils.

Secondary School
When pupils reach secondary school
their whole school schedule is flipped upside down. They go from
spending every day in the same couple of class rooms in primary school
to having to navigate a large school complex several times a day. Due to
the increase in classes and classrooms students have to carry many
books and bags around with them on a daily basis. This is why having
lockers is essential to save them time and back ache. By having
