During the last month, we have been in close contact with a new client, who wanted new lockers fitted throughout the entirety of their brand new school. Their requirements included chic lockers with a speedy installation period.
The Assignment ✏️
A new school in London contacted our sales team in early August with an enquiry. Their requirements included a series of heavy-duty lockers to be installed throughout their school premises. This included lockers to fit within pre-built indented areas, as well as stand-alone ones within the school corridors.
They sent us a series of in-depth CAD drawings of their space, asking whether we had the lockers to suit their needs. In addition, they wanted to know whether this installation project would be possible, with such a tight deadline.
After surveying the drawings and noting their dimensions, we were able to recommend they purchased 315 of our Armour Steel Z Door Lockers. The shelf and well design of these lockers are ideal for schooling environments. You can hang coats in the long compartment using the in-built coat hook, with books and bags accessible using the shelves. The lockers powder coating finish with germ guard anti-bacterial technology also prevents the spread of germs and bacteria around the school premise.
They opted to keep 42 lockers with a flat roof to fit into pre-built areas, and added sloping roofs to the remaining 273. As a result, the school can prevent excessive build up of dirt on top their lockers, maintaining the sleek overall look.
As for locking options, they chose to upgrade the locks to Hasp and Staple Locks. This allows for students to bring in their own padlocks to secure their lockers.
Let’s Talk Timeframes ⌛
On August 7th 2025, our sales team received the enquiry for high-quality lockers to suit their brand new school environment. Due to their tight deadline, we were unable to conduct a site visit. However, they supplied us with high-quality CAD drawings from their architect, providing us a full picture of their workable space. We followed their requirements of wanting sleek lockers to fit with the aesthetic of the building, whilst being durable to withstand daily use from students.
Overnight, we decided to recommend the Armour Steel Z Door, as it best suited their needs. We then sent them a personalised quote including price, number of lockers, and an all important installation date. Relieved that we could assist with their ambitious project, they did not hesitate to place their order with us on August 8th 2025, choosing colour swatch ‘light grey’ for all the lockers.
Delivery and installation began on August 27th. It took our installation team 3-4 days to complete the project.
The School Locker Installation Process 👷

He wanted to ensure our Installation Team were fitting the lockers to perfection, and helping this school maximise their space.

It took 3-4 days for our Installation Team to finish the job, and we are super proud of the finished result!
42 of the lockers feature flat roofs, allowing for them to be fitted into pre-made gaps designed into the new walls of this corridor. This creates a seamless finish which maximises the available space.
The remaining 273 lockers with sloping roofs fitted in perfectly into designated areas around the school.
