Residents asked to keep wheelie bins safe Following a series of wheelie bin arson attacks, the residents of Frome, Somerset were asked to exercise caution. The Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service issued a statement on February 15 advising residents and businesses to secure their waste containers out of sight. A group of circus performers in the Perth Fringe Festival, Western Australia have made wheelie bins famous. The Melbourne based trio ‘Trash Test Dummies’ are booked for six shows at the festival which starts later this month. The group have signed up to a further 23 shows in Adelaide before going to the Melbourne Comedy Festival. Their act includes wheelie bin acrobatics, hiding in them and bin surfing.
