The Health & Safety Event is the perfect education and networking opportunity for anyone responsible for health and safety at work. It is THE place to be to soak up information on how to run a safe and efficient workplace in the UK. And this year, it’s being held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham!
About The Health & Safety Event
The Health & Safety Event has an educational partnership with both The British Safety Council and The International Institute for Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM). This ensures that the event presents quality and unrivalled educational experience for all visitors equally. A Free Conference will be held and there will be access to over 400 vendors and suppliers across three shows:
- The Safety Dialogue Theatre is the perfect place to discuss and contribute to topics chiefly relating to Safety. This is a platform for sharing experience within the network. A collaboration between the Health & Safety Laboratory, British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), NEBOSH with sponsor 3M.
- The Safer Logistics Seminar and Feature area will provide quality presentations tackling key safety points in warehousing and logistics in detail. This event is about bringing experts together, such as the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA), Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA), the Food Storage & Distribution Federation (FSDF) as well as RTITB (formerly the Road Transport Industry Training Board).
- The NEBOSH Education Pavilion will provide guidance for those seeking to improve the standards of training and education at work. This area of the event is meant to bring people who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety together.
BSIF Safety Awards 2017
The prestigious BSIF Safety Awards 2017 will also be announced at the event. The Awards aim to recognise excellence within the safety industry. There are three categories: Product Innovation Award, to award new and innovative products that improve occupational safety and health; BSIF Service Award, for companies in the safety field for exceptional and innovative service solutions; and BSIF Safety Excellence Award, which recognises case studies of major improvements in occupational safety.
The NEC will host the event from the 21st to the 23rd of March 2017 in Birmingham. The Health & Safety Event will feature about 200 exhibition stands, 48 conference and seminar sessions and 45 engaging speakers.
