Has Health and Safety gone too far with wheelie bins? Bin men have been told to stop moving wheelie bins in Craven, West Morland. This new rule has been branded as ridiculous by a Craven councillor. Around 20% of the residents live in inaccessible places have their bins taken to the waste lorry by council workmen. Wheelie Bin Safety

A woman has died after a fire broke out at a café in Aberdeen. Two other people had to flee their homes along side the 62 year old lady in order to escape the blaze. Four fire fighters were called to the scene to put out a wheelie bin fire at the café which had ignited a gas pipe causing those who lived above the business to flee.  Police Scotland said the woman became unwell after the incident and later died in hospital.
