Australia are Wheelie (Bins) crazy

A group of circus performers in the Perth Fringe Festival, Western Australia have made wheelie bins famous. The Melbourne based trio ‘Trash Test Dummies’ are booked for six shows at the festival which starts later this month. The group have signed up to a further 23 shows in Adelaide before going to the Melbourne Comedy Festival. Their act includes wheelie bin acrobatics, hiding in them and bin surfing. Wolverhampton to Charge for Second Bin

In the next year a fee will be brought in for residents of Wolverhampton who require an extra bin. The first bin that all residents should already have was free of charge but the council have decided if a second bin is required then residents will have to pay extra. Council bosses have described the charge as ‘good value for money’ as they won’t be making any profit from the scheme. Not So Rubbish Recycling In East Cambs

Recycling Result East Cambridgeshire have found themselves third on the list of the highest increase in recycling performance across the English councils in the last year. The Department of Environment statistics from the Food and Rural Affairs show that in 2012-2013 East Cambridgeshire was ranked a mere 257th out of 320 councils who are responsible for waste collections. East Cambs recycling level at this position were just 33.37%.
