As its #charityTuesday we thought there was no better time than today to take the opportunity to tell you about the difference that you, as our customer, have made.
Since 1st January 2014 we have been raising money for Promise Dreams. A local charity based in Wolverhampton which makes the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children across the UK come true.
We made a promise that for every order you placed through our wheelie bin website we would donate £1 to Promise Dreams. It may not sound like very much to some, but those £1 donations have quickly added up to thousands of pounds.
To date we have raised a fantastic £5601.00 for the charity and the figure just keeps on rising!
This total is made up from money that we have raised as a company for taking part in Promise Dream’s most popular event ‘Walk for Dreams’, and the £1 donations from every order placed through our website. We would also like to thank the customers who matched our £1 donation; your money has gone to such a great cause. You can make a £1 donation to Promise Dreams here.
So far with the money we have raised Promise Dreams have been able make the dreams of three very special children come true.
They have been able to grant Caseley, aged 15, and his family a holiday to Disneyland Paris for a short break, giving them spend time together creating lovely memories. They have also been able to help Oliver, aged 4, by providing a Tomcat trike which he is able to pedal unassisted, giving him a sense of freedom whilst benefitting from the opportunity to exercise his muscles. And finally, they have been able to help Alexander, aged 9, by also giving him a new trike so that he and his family can continue their much loved bike rides.
We would like to thank you for your orders and enabling us to give something back to our community. We hope to continue to raise more for Promise Dreams, so that they can help more children and their families.
