Mark Cavendish is a former World Champion and Tour de France winner and is now attempting to win over North Wales. Cavendish is hoping to bring cycling success to North Wales in a new event. The event will be an open cycle sportive on August 9th and will feature Cavendish riding along side thousands of amateur cyclists from not only the UK but also around the world. Para-Cycling Update: The Verdict

After all the worries and stress from the UCI’s application error, we are pleased to confirm that Para-cycling WILL be on the program for the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics! Hoorah! The Final Decision Para-cycling has had a warning and a reprieve after the IPC (International Paralympic Committee) announced it could be in with a chance of not being one of the chosen sports to make up the program. The Fate of Para-Cycling 2020

Will Para-cycling make it into the 2020 Paralympic games? The final verdict on which sports will feature in the Tokyo games will be made at an international Paralympic Committee governing board meeting in Abu Dhabi with their decision being announced tomorrow. 16 sports already had their places confirmed back in October and the committee say there will only be a maximum of 23 sports that make up the Paralympic programme.
