A woman has died after a fire broke out at a caf\u00e9 in Aberdeen. Two other people had to flee their homes along side the 62 year old lady in order to escape the blaze. Four fire fighters were called to the scene to put out a wheelie bin fire at the caf\u00e9 which had ignited a gas pipe causing those who lived above the business to flee. \"wheelie-bin-fire\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Police Scotland said the woman became unwell after the incident and later died in hospital. A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said that this sort of fire puts people\u2019s lives and property in danger. Wheelie bins<\/a> should be stored out of sight and away from the building to reduce risks. If possible, behind locked gates is the best wheelie bin storage. Residents and businesses have to been asked to follow these precautions to eliminate the risks of deliberate wheelie bin fires. Two 18 year old men have been charged in connection with the caf\u00e9 fire and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.<\/p>\n

Being sensible with wheelie bins is vital. Although many of us don’t think about the hazards or simply believe they wont happen to us, it is always better to be safe than sorry.
